QuillVoice is built local-first. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device, and we do not collect your audio, transcripts, or personal data. This policy explains the few data flows that do exist and why.
The short version: your voice and transcripts never leave your computer. The only thing QuillVoice sends is an optional check for software updates, which contains no personal data. This website uses no cookies and no personal tracking.

2. What the app processes
Audio & transcripts
When you dictate, audio is captured and transcribed on your own machine using local Whisper models. Audio is processed in memory for recognition and is not uploaded anywhere. Transcripts (your dictation history) are stored locally on your device, under your control, and can be searched, exported, or cleared by you.
License keys
If you buy Pro, your license key is verified locally on your device. There is no sign-in and no account. [TO FILL: confirm whether activation ever contacts a server, e.g. a one-time online check.]
3. What the app sends over the network
The only outbound request QuillVoice makes is an optional update check: it requests a small version file to see whether a newer release exists. This request contains no audio, no transcripts, and no personal data, and it never touches the dictation path. It can be disabled. 4. This website
This site is static and uses no cookies and no personal tracking.
